Emily Grace Designs specializes in origami earrings that are handcrafted with care. After each unique pair of cranes are made they get attached to a post and earring hook. The cranes are then dipped in hot wax to add stability to the origami artwork. Then the final touch is a spray of acrylic lacquer to add a protective finish.
Emily Grace is eleven years old. When she was in fourth grade, her best friend taught her how to make origami cranes and ever since then she has loved to make them. Her mom got the idea that she could make earrings out of the cranes that she makes and that is how she started this business. Emily is in seventh grade and loves to read. Some of her favorite books are Harry Potter, Dragon Cauldron, Dragon Rider, Eragon, The Kingdom Keepers, and H.I.V.E.
